Let’s Talk About It…

First, THANK YOU!  If you are here in this moment with us, it is not only the future and the past aligning, which itself is magic and special, but this also means you have supported us in sharing our story by circulating your time and resources our way! Thank you again! In this space, we want to hear from you about your thoughts, feelings, ideas, and any other thing you found interesting and alarming in the books, words, art, games, and purposeful intentions of love. 

This was our first book, and by “our” I mean our little family (Dee, Shae, Dezi, Bev). This special project was written from June– August 2024 at a very important crossroad which we now acknowledge would indeed become the actual turning point to knowing, enjoying, and loving ourselves more fully. The photographs included in the book span and capture some of our purest and special moments from 2021 -2025. The paintings were created and completed from 2022-2025 and express visual stories representing lessons regarding love, pain, and accepting and being self fully. The games, activities, poems and other writings were either created exclusively for this book or apart of future projects we are soon to share.

Youb3yond = You Beyond     We understand the power and symbolism in letters, numbers, words, and their placement and usage.  We intentionally combined the words you and beyond and replaced the letter e with the number 3 because there have been three of us on this journey finding ourselves in very dark places but still holding light and space for ourselves and all others. This same form of intentional flip-flopping of letters, numbers and images is used throughout our Art-Story telling as a means of playfulness, attention grabbing, and maybe a little bit of rebellion towards one of many long-standing “systems” of the right and wrong way of doing things.  Have fun and create your reality!

Yu B’ Yahn is a pin name we came up with to continue with the theme of  YOU BEYOND…You going beyond who ever you have known or even believed yourself to be without any question or limitations. Yu B’ Yahn is the You that gets to choose your own name, your own wants, your own likes. Yu B’ Yahn is all of us, everyone, from all time.
