He is love, he is loyal, he is kind, he is always hungry, he is playful, he is energetic, he is annoying... he's Bevo.

He is love, he is loyal, he is kind, he is always hungry, he is playful, he is energetic, he is annoying, and he adds a youthful and healing energy to our life force. He is family and he is Bevo!

Some say a dog is just a pet. But if you’ve ever met Bevo, you know better. He’s more than fur and paws. He’s love wrapped in zoomies, loyalty with a side of slobber, kindness in the shape of a snoring nap buddy. Bevo is the heartbeat on four legs who makes our house feel like a home, even when he’s barking at nothing or stealing a snack we swore was out of reach.
He’s playful, energetic, a little annoying (okay, sometimes a lot), and always hungry.

But he’s also a healer. His goofy grin, his tail wags, his refusal to let us stay still or stay sad...he brings a lightness and youthfulness that feeds our spirits every single day.
Bevo doesn’t just live with us.
He lives for usand in return, we live a little better because of him.
He’s family. He’s joy. He’s chaos. He’s Bevo.

A Poem for Bevo: “He Is Bevo”
He is nose, he is tail,
He’s the blur in the trail
Of a chase after shadows or bees.
He’s the bark at the door,
The fur on the floor.
He is love, full and loud,
Tail high, head proud,
He is kind, he is bold,
Has a stomach of gold,
Begging bites that we try to ignore.
He’s annoying, we’ll say,
Trips your feet every day
Yet we laugh every time he’s around.
He’s our joy, he’s our spark,
He’s the light in the dark,
He is healing, he’s youth,
He’s the silly, sweet truth
That the soul grows in laughter and mud.
He’s not perfect, thank God,
He’s our flawed little odd
Patch of fur filled with infinite love.
He is family.
He is freedom.
He is joy.
He is Bevo.
