What is Comfort?
I never knew or understood comfort. I believed that comfort was a qualifier to being a good person, and being a good person means being modest and humble in my wants.
I also believed that I must spend the majority of my life working extremely hard for everything I have and want.
other versions of me always tried to follow a certain set of laws, principles, beliefs, traditions, patterns, trends, and commands just to be continent with life.
I would soon learn that this contentment kept me bound to the nightmares of poverty, abandonment, rejection, and complete confusion
It was during this part of my dream I would meet God/ source/the creator/LOVE
whatever human word you give to what you believe....in my unknown places of discomfort.
Yes, creation in the form of man, would come and tell me in every way possible that it’s okay to be beautiful and have and want beautiful things,
it’s okay to want and have nice things.
It’s okay to sit down when you are tired.
It’s okay to laugh and play when no one else is.
It’s okay to make love anytime and anyplace,
it’s okay to want comfort.
GREATEST LESSON I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT COMFORT:
There is no reward in modesty of your wants.
Your wants are beautiful, and they make you beautiful.
Well since meeting God in this way,
I went on a new journey to find what people places, and things bring me comfort.
This led me here.
Right now.
With you!
This is my want of love. Thank you!
